For over 25 years, we’ve been sharing the tradition of family-friendly hayrides around our farm where everyone gets an upfront and personal encounter (maybe some cow licks) with our friendly cows!
Our Feed the Herd Rides are a 30-minute adventure through our 50+ acre farm in Johnston, Rhode Island, traveling through planted fields, wooded trails, and ultimately into our cow pasture. Once we arrive, the cows come right up to the wagon, surrounding you for a truly memorable up-close feeding experience! Everyone on the wagon gets the chance to feed the cows and enjoy watching these gentle animals interact with the whole family.
It’s more than a hayride—it’s a chance to ride through the farm, meet the herd, and feed the cows!
Feed the Herd Rides run weekends only from September 5, 2026 through October 31, 2026. From Sept. 5th - Sept. 19th hayrides will run every hour (11 AM - 3PM). Sept. 19th- Oct. 31st hayrides will run every half hour, our first hayride leaves at 10:00 AM and they run continuously until 3:30 PM when our last hayrides leaves.
Hayride Costs 2026: Rides are $10.00 per person (children under 2 are free). Food for the cows during the hayride is included in the price for each individual on the hayride.
Hayride Reservations: We will be using a reservation system for customers who would like to reserve spots for a hayride during a designated time and to ensure a ride for their entire party. Hayrides will be open to the public as well; however, it will be on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are highly recommended, as hayrides do fill up quickly.
To reserve hayride spots for your party please see the available times and dates listed below. Due to increased processing fees, customers will not be charged to reserve hayride spots; however, tickets for hayride must be purchased within our Johnston store. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled hayride to check in and purchase your hayride tickets.
